KoolBox supports four architectures: cloud (hosted), private (a dedicated environment), on-premise (your infrastructure), and air-gapped (no external AI connectivity). Cloud is available on every plan; private and on-premise are available from Business upward; air-gapped is available through Enterprise.
It depends on the workload. Public AI can be highly cost-effective for intermittent or lower-volume use. For sustained workloads, dedicated infrastructure can provide more predictable costs and may reduce dependence on usage-based token charges.
An AI Compute Node is a server running AI models for KoolBox. It can be a local machine, cloud VM, or GPU server, and can host multiple AI models, knowledge bases, and assistants at the same time.
Yes. Every deployment starts with a 7-day free trial of the plan you choose, so you can deploy a node and try KoolBox before you pay. A payment card is required to start the trial; cancel any time before it ends and you are not charged. When the 7 days end, that same plan continues as a paid subscription at its own price. Enterprise is not self-serve and has no trial.
