AI for Mission-Critical Public Sector Knowledge
Put policies, procedures, program records, and mission-critical information to work with AI — inside infrastructure the agency controls, up to and including completely air-gapped environments.
Knowledge the Mission Depends On
Public Sector Knowledge Rarely Belongs on a Public AI Service
Agencies hold decades of policy, program, procurement, and operational knowledge, much of it controlled unclassified information that is not appropriate to send to an external AI provider.
KoolBox lets teams work with that information in natural language while models, prompts, documents, and responses stay inside infrastructure the agency controls — so data residency and sovereignty are a deployment decision, not a vendor promise.
Policy & Regulation Research
Search, compare, and summarize statute, policy, and guidance across large document sets.
Controlled Information
Work with controlled unclassified and classified material inside the enclave that already holds it.
Procedures & Program Records
Give staff faster answers from standard operating procedures, program files, and institutional records.
Mission AI Assistants
Build assistants scoped to a directorate, program office, or knowledge set, each with its own permissions.
Deployment on the Agency's Terms
From Public-Facing Workloads to Isolated Enclaves
Civilian and defense missions rarely have one sensitivity level. KoolBox deploys across the full range of architectures, so a public-information chatbot and a classified research assistant can run on the same platform in very different environments.
Because the platform is deployed into infrastructure the agency already owns and accredits, it sits inside existing security, identity, and audit boundaries rather than asking for an exception to them.
Cloud
Simple & Fast
Get started quickly without managing your own infrastructure. Best for general business AI workloads where cloud connectivity is appropriate.
Private
Greater Control
Run KoolBox in an environment dedicated to your organization. Best for businesses seeking greater separation and control.
On-Premise
Your Infrastructure
Deploy KoolBox within infrastructure controlled by your organization. Best for sensitive information, internal integrations, and predictable workloads.
Air-Gapped
Maximum Isolation
Operate KoolBox without connectivity to external AI services. Best for highly sensitive information, intellectual property, confidential client data, and corporate secrets.
For classified networks, controlled unclassified information, and mission-critical program data, KoolBox can operate completely air-gapped inside infrastructure the agency controls.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. KoolBox supports fully air-gapped deployments using local AI models and local agency data, with no external AI API and no continuous internet connection required. Accreditation and authorization requirements are handled as part of an Enterprise engagement, against the standards that apply to your specific environment.
In private, on-premise, and air-gapped deployments, models, prompts, documents, and responses all remain inside infrastructure the agency controls. Agency data is never used to train public AI models.
Yes. Many organizations run public-facing or general-purpose AI in a private cloud while keeping controlled and classified workloads on-premise or air-gapped. KoolBox supports both from one platform, so each workload sits in an environment matched to its sensitivity.
Business plans include role-based access controls. Enterprise deployments add SSO, SAML, LDAP, and advanced role-based access control alongside high-availability architecture, so access can follow the agency's existing directory and authorization model.
Air-gapped deployment is available on the Enterprise plan, licensed per environment rather than per external API call. Because the software runs on hardware the agency owns, there is no usage-based external dependency to forecast. Contact us and we'll work through the specifics with your contracting team.
